Five Nights at Freddy's 2 takes the survival horror formula of the first game and removes your biggest safety net: the doors. As the new night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, you sit in an open office with a wide hallway and two air vents, completely exposed to the roaming animatronics. The stakes are higher, the tension is relentless, and your only defense against a sudden jumpscare is your own quick reflexes and a hollowed-out Freddy mask.
Each night demands intense multitasking. You have to monitor the cameras, flash your light down the hall to keep Foxy at bay, and immediately pull down your Freddy mask when an animatronic enters the room. On top of that, you must continuously wind a music box to prevent the Puppet from waking up. The game quickly turns into a nerve-wracking rhythm of checking cameras, winding the box, and scanning the room for danger.
Controls
- Mouse: Look around the office, navigate menus, and interact with the camera monitor
- Left Click: Toggle lights in the vents and hallway, and wind the music box
- Ctrl: Use the flashlight
Tips
- Prioritize the music box above all else. If it stops playing, your run is over.
- Don't spend too long on the cameras. Wind the music box, then immediately drop the monitor and check your surroundings.
- As soon as you lower the camera monitor, automatically put the Freddy mask on for a split second just in case someone is already in the room.
- Flash your light down the hallway frequently to keep Foxy away, as the mask does not fool him.
If you enjoy fast-paced resource management under extreme pressure, this classic horror title will test your nerves like nothing else.
