Master Checkers Game

Master Checkers is a clean, browser-based version of the classic board game. You can play against an AI opponent to sharpen your skills or challenge another player locally. The board is presented in a crisp top-down view, making it easy to read the state of the game and plan your next moves.

The rules follow standard checkers: pieces move diagonally one square at a time, and capturing is mandatory when an opponent's piece is open to jump. Reaching the opposite end of the board crowns your piece, allowing it to move and capture backward as well as forward.

Controls

• Mouse: Click to select a piece, then click a valid highlighted square to move.
• Touch: Tap the piece you want to move, then tap the destination square.

Tips

• Control the center: Keep your pieces grouped toward the middle of the board to limit your opponent's options and force them to the edges.
• Protect your back row: Leave your back row of pieces untouched as long as possible to prevent the opponent from getting early kings.
• Set up traps: Sometimes sacrificing a piece is worth it if it forces the opponent into a position where you can capture two or more of their pieces in return.
