Shape Fold Game

Shape Fold is an engaging, physics-based puzzle game that tests your spatial reasoning and planning. Unlike traditional jigsaw puzzles where you piece together loose fragments, this game presents you with an interconnected web of geometric segments linked by hinge joints. Your objective is to manipulate and fold this single, articulated structure until it aligns perfectly with the target silhouette shown in the background.

Every move you make affects the rest of the structure. Because the segments are physically linked, folding one section around a hinge will rotate or reposition the adjacent parts. The gameplay is meditative yet mentally stimulating, requiring you to think ahead and figure out how the pieces interact without colliding or blocking one another.

Controls

The controls are straightforward and designed for direct interaction with the puzzle pieces:

• Click and Drag: Click on any segment with your mouse and drag it to rotate it around its hinge joint.
• Touch and Drag: If playing on a touchscreen device, tap and drag a segment to move it.

Tips and Strategies

• Study the Hinge Joints: Look at the black dots connecting the pieces. These are the pivot points. Understanding which segments rotate around which hinge helps you plan the folding sequence.
• Watch out for Collisions: Segments cannot pass through one another. If a piece seems stuck or won't fold all the way, you may need to unfold sections first to clear the path.
• Work From the Outside In: It is often easiest to fold the outer segments into place first, though some puzzles will require you to fold interior pieces in a specific order to avoid trapping them.
• Reset When Tangled: If your structure becomes too tangled or difficult to manage, use the reset button to start the level fresh with the pieces in their default layout.
