Stabfish.io is a free multiplayer .io game where you play a deadly ocean creature armed with a tusk, swimming through an open arena full of players doing the same thing. There's no story here, just a shared sea and a scoreboard.
The loop is simple to learn and hard to master: eat food scattered around the arena to grow and fuel your speed boost, then hunt fish. Attacks land best from the side or behind, since a fish that sees you coming head-on can turn the fight around. Every kill lengthens your tusk and hangs the victim's body on it as a trophy, and the longer your tusk gets, the more aggressively you can afford to play. Reach certain milestones and you unlock new creatures to play as, like killer whales, hammerhead sharks, and a Kraken-themed skin family, some of which carry extra kill bonuses.
Controls
- PC: Move the mouse to steer, left mouse button to boost speed
- Mobile: Swipe to steer, hold two fingers on the screen to boost
Tips
- Go for side and rear attacks — charging a fish head-on is how you end up as someone else's trophy.
- Feed up before you fight. A short tusk loses duels against players who've been eating longer.
- Milestone skins like the killer whale and hammerhead shark aren't just cosmetic — some come with kill bonuses, so they're worth playing toward.
It suits players who like fast, competitive arena games in the mold of agar.io or slither.io — quick respawns, no setup, and a session that's over whenever you decide to stop.
