Sushi Situation is a relaxing yet mentally engaging spatial puzzle game where players arrange various sushi pieces onto uniquely shaped plates. Developed by Delfino, the game challenges you to think ahead and use logical placement to solve increasingly complex layouts. Each stage presents a new plate outline and a set of sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi that must fit together seamlessly.
Your goal is to completely fill every outline on the plate without leaving any empty gaps or allowing any sushi to hang over the edges. With no strict timers or high-pressure constraints, the game focuses entirely on spatial reasoning and planning. It is the perfect choice for a quick brain-teaser or a satisfying, slow-paced puzzle session.
Controls
On desktop, use your mouse to click and drag the sushi pieces from the tray onto the plate. Release the mouse button to drop a piece in place. On mobile devices and tablets, you can select and position the sushi pieces using simple touch and drag gestures.
Tips
- Place large pieces first: Larger and more complex sushi shapes have fewer valid placement options. Fit them onto the plate first to make the remaining space easier to manage.
- Target corners and edges: Focus on filling the outer boundaries and sharp corners of the plate early in the puzzle, as these restricted areas are harder to fill later.
- Work inwards: Building your arrangement from the outer edges of the plate toward the center prevents you from accidentally leaving isolated, single-tile gaps.
