TenTrix is a block-fitting puzzle played on a 10x10 grid, in the same family as 1010! and Woodoku. You're given three shapes at a time, and you have to place all three somewhere on the board before you're handed the next set. There's no falling, no timer forcing your hand — the only pressure is the shrinking amount of open space.
Clearing works by filling an entire row or column, in any direction, which clears it and opens the board back up. The catch is that pieces can't be rotated, so a shape you'd normally turn to fit a gap has to be placed as-is or saved for later — planning two or three moves ahead is what keeps a board alive instead of boxing yourself into a dead placement.
Controls
Drag pieces with the mouse on desktop, or drag with your finger on touchscreens. There's no keyboard control at all.
Tips
- Keep at least one full row or column open at all times — filling the board evenly is safer than racing to clear one section.
- Since pieces can't rotate, hold awkward shapes (long L's, plus-signs) for spots that are already shaped to fit them rather than forcing them into open space.
- Clearing a row and a column at the same time with one piece is worth more than two separate single clears, so look for corner placements that line both up.
Good fit for anyone who likes calm, no-timer puzzle games where the challenge is spatial planning rather than speed.
