Controls

Touchdowners uses simple keyboard layouts for matches on the same device:

Single Player Mode:

• Left / Right Arrow Keys: Move your team left or right across the field.
• Z Key: Pass or throw the football.

Two-Player Local Mode:

• Player 1 (Left Side): Use Z to move left, X to move right, and C to pass the ball.
• Player 2 (Right Side): Use the Left Arrow to move left, the Right Arrow to move right, and M to pass the ball.

Tips and Strategies

• Master the Wobbly Physics: Because your three players move in unison with loose physics, holding down a direction key too long can cause them to tip over. Use quick taps to maintain balance and positioning.
• Pass to Advance: Throwing the ball is often faster and safer than trying to run past the defense. Look for open teammates downfield and press the pass button to toss the ball over defenders.
• Defend the End Zone: When the opponent has the ball, position your wobbly defenders in front of your end zone to act as a physical barrier, forcing a fumble or blocking a pass.
• Use the Sidelines: Herd the opposing ball-carrier towards the edge of the screen to restrict their movement options, making it much easier to trigger a tackle and recover the ball.
