2048 Doge Game

2048 Doge swaps the sterile numbers of the original puzzle phenomenon for pictures of the internet's favorite Shiba Inu. Instead of combining twos to make fours, you slide matching Doge faces together to discover increasingly elaborate and ridiculous outfits.

Every time you press an arrow key, the entire board slides in that direction, combining any adjacent matching Doges into the next tier and spawning a fresh basic Doge in a random empty spot. The board is a small 4x4 grid, and if it fills up completely with no valid moves left, the run ends. The satisfaction comes from maintaining order amidst the chaos.

Controls

• Desktop: Use the Up, Down, Left, and Right arrow keys to slide the grid.
• Mobile: Swipe anywhere on the screen in the direction you want the tiles to slide.

Tips

• Choose one corner (for example, bottom-right) and always keep your highest-tier Doge there. Never swipe in the opposite direction (up or left) unless absolutely forced to.
• Build a "snake" pattern. If your highest is in the bottom right, keep your second-highest to its immediate left, and the third-highest next to that. This allows you to quickly cascade merges when a new high-tier tile is formed.
• Take your time. There is no timer, so you can plan your next slide by looking at what will collide before you actually press the key.
