Basket Random takes the basic premise of basketball and strips it down to a single button and a heavily exaggerated physics engine. You control a team of two players who flail, flip, and flop across the court with every jump. The objective is simply to score five points before your opponent, but the chaotic movement makes even a simple layup wildly unpredictable.
Every time a point is scored, the game resets with a new random mutation. You might find your players sporting unusually long arms, trying to sink a heavy medicine ball, or slipping around on an ice-covered court. These changing conditions keep rounds fast and unpredictable, forcing you to adapt your timing on the fly rather than relying on practiced maneuvers.
Controls
You only need one button to jump and shoot.
- Player 1: Press W
- Player 2: Press the Up Arrow
Tips
- Wait to jump: Spamming the button usually ends with your players flat on their backs. Wait until the ball is descending toward your side before you launch.
- Block with your body: Even if you don't jump, your players will still pivot slightly toward the ball. You can often block low shots just by standing in the way.
- Use the modifiers: On ice courts, momentum carries you further. If you have long arms, try to stay grounded and let your reach do the work for you.
