Block Puzzle Game

Block Puzzle takes the familiar joy of fitting geometric shapes together and removes the ticking clock. Instead of pieces raining down from the top of the screen, you are handed three blocks at a time and given a blank 10x10 grid. You decide exactly where each piece goes, taking as long as you need to find the perfect fit. The goal is straightforward: build complete rows or columns to clear them off the board and keep the grid from filling up.

Every move is permanent, meaning a sloppy placement early on can quickly snowball into a cluttered board. Since you have to play all three blocks before receiving a fresh set, you must constantly weigh immediate line clears against setting up future combos. The round only ends when you are handed a shape that absolutely cannot fit into your remaining open squares.

Controls

Play entirely with your mouse or touchscreen. Click and drag a block from the bottom tray onto the board. You cannot rotate the pieces, so they must be placed exactly as they appear.

Tips

• Look at all three pieces: Before moving anything, see what trio you have to work with. Placing your first piece in a spot that blocks the two is a common rookie mistake.
• Beware the 3x3 square: The giant 3x3 block is a run-killer. Always try to keep a large, open 9-square area available on your board just in case it appears in your next draw.
• Clear from the center: While it is tempting to build neatly in the corners, keeping the center of the board open gives you the most flexibility to place awkward L-shapes and long pieces.
