About CircloO

CircloO is a physics platformer where the level itself is a circle and you're a small ball rolling around its inside edge. There's no jump button — every bit of height comes from momentum, building speed along the curve and launching off ramps to reach the next stretch of track. It's a game about reading a loop of terrain and knowing exactly how fast you need to be going before you commit.

Each level starts small and grows as you play: collect seven circles scattered around the track and the level itself expands, opening new terrain and forcing you to relearn the momentum lines you'd just gotten comfortable with. Made by Dutch developer Florian van Strien in GameMaker and first released in 2014, the free version packs fourteen levels plus six harder ones once you've cleared the basics.

Controls

  • A / D or Left / Right Arrow – Roll the ball left or right

Tips

  • Slow down before you think you need to — overshooting a curve kills your momentum faster than taking it a touch too cautious.
  • Ramps reward speed you built up earlier in the loop, not speed you try to add right before the jump.
  • When a level expands after a circle pickup, expect the terrain you already know to behave differently — new track changes the lines that used to work.

It suits anyone who likes tight, momentum-based physics puzzles over reflex platforming — short levels, but each one takes a few real attempts to read correctly.

CircloO FAQ

How do you move in CircloO?
There's no jump key — press A/D or the left/right arrow keys to roll the ball, and use the momentum you build to launch off ramps and reach higher terrain.
How many levels does CircloO have?
The free browser version has fourteen levels, plus six harder ones that unlock once you've cleared the base set.
What happens when you collect a circle?
Each level grows every time you collect one of the seven circles scattered around it, opening new terrain and changing the momentum lines you were relying on.
Who made CircloO?
CircloO was made by Dutch developer Florian van Strien, first released in 2014.
