About Dadish

Dadish puts you in the roots of an anxious radish dad whose kids have wandered off across a food-themed world. Each of the game's five worlds sends you a little further from home, hopping across platforms, dodging spiky enemies, and finding one of your runaway children at the end of the stage.

It's built for short sessions — most levels are built around one or two ideas each, a new enemy, a moving platform pattern, a timing trick, rather than one long sprawling world. Dadish first released in 2020 from developer Thomas K. Young, and went on to spawn a full series, including Dadish 2, Dadish 3, Daily Dadish, and Dadish 3D.

Controls

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and jump with Spacebar. Dadish has a double jump, so a second tap in mid-air buys extra height or a longer reach across a gap.

Tips

  • Hold the jump key a little longer for a taller leap — a quick tap only gives a short hop.
  • Save the double jump to correct a jump you've already committed to, not just for extra height.
  • Check corners and dead ends before moving on — the series tends to hide stars off the main path.
  • Watch a new enemy's movement for a second before jumping past it; most hits come from rushing in.

With roughly 50 short levels across five worlds, it suits quick play — clear a level, find a kid, move to the next.

Dadish FAQ

How do I jump higher in Dadish?
Hold the jump key a little longer instead of tapping it — jump height scales with how long you hold Spacebar, and Dadish also has a double jump for extra height or reach.
How many levels does Dadish have?
The original game has roughly 50 levels spread across five worlds, each ending with you finding one of your missing kids.
Is there a sequel to Dadish?
Yes — the series continues with Dadish 2, Dadish 3, Daily Dadish, and Dadish 3D, each adding new worlds and mechanics to the same platforming formula.
