Hide and Smash is a fast, round-based multiplayer game that turns classic hide-and-seek into a team-versus-team scramble. Every match randomly splits players into two sides: the blue Hiders, who disguise themselves as ordinary objects scattered around the map, and the red Smashers, who have to spot and smash them before it's too late.
Hiders win by quietly collecting every key hidden across the level while staying camouflaged; Smashers win by finding and smashing every disguised opponent before the last key is grabbed. Since you're dropped onto a random team each round, you end up learning both sides of the cat-and-mouse loop rather than sticking to just one role.
Controls
Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and use the mouse to aim and click to smash. On phones and tablets an on-screen joystick takes over movement.
Tips
- As a Hider, pick a disguise that actually fits where you're standing — an object that doesn't belong is the first thing a Smasher notices.
- Grab keys in short bursts and settle back into disguise between moves; a Hider caught mid-run is an easy kill.
- As a Smasher, look for objects that seem out of place or that appear to shift position between glances.
- Spread out with your team to cover different parts of the map so Hiders can't slip through a single unguarded corner.
It's a quick, replayable pick for anyone who likes party games built on social deception and reflexes rather than a story mode or singleplayer levels.
