Shady Bears Game

Shady Bears is a chaotic arcade platformer where your biggest enemy is your own past. You play as a bear on a mission to collect acorns scattered across the screen. The catch is that as you play, shadow clones of your bear will spawn and trace the exact path you just took. Every jump, every pause, and every frantic dash is recorded and played back by an invincible shadow that will take your life if you touch it.

As the screen fills with acorns, it also fills with your past selves. A round starts simply, but quickly turns into a tangled web of your own making, where you have to weave through the exact movements you made seconds earlier. Items like fireflies can help by stunning the shadows, while honey pots boost your score but might attract bees. The game shines especially bright in local multiplayer, where you and your friends share the keyboard and have to avoid everyone's shadows at once.

Controls

• Player 1: Use the Left and Right arrow keys to move, and the Up arrow to jump.
• Player 2: Use the A and D keys to move, and W to jump.

Tips

• Route carefully: Try to move in wide loops rather than doubling back on yourself. Your shadow will follow your exact path, so leaving the center open gives you room to breathe.
• Wait before grabbing: If an acorn is in a tight spot, lure your shadows away first, then quickly dash in and out before they catch up.
• Coordinate in co-op: When playing with a friend, communicate your paths. It is incredibly easy to accidentally walk into your partner's shadow if you aren't paying attention.
