Tetra Blocks Game

Tetra Blocks brings the iconic falling-block puzzle experience straight to your browser. You are tasked with arranging descending shapes, known as tetrominoes, to form solid horizontal lines across the board. Every time you complete a line, it disappears, creating more room for the relentless stream of incoming pieces.

As you survive and clear lines, the speed steadily increases, demanding faster reflexes and sharper spatial awareness. The ultimate goal is to keep the playfield clear for as long as possible and rack up a massive high score before the stack reaches the top and ends your run.

Controls

• Left / Right Arrow Keys: Move the piece left or right
• Up Arrow / X: Rotate clockwise
• Z: Rotate counter-clockwise
• Down Arrow: Soft drop (accelerates descent)
• Spacebar: Hard drop (instantly locks the piece in place)
• Shift / C: Hold a piece to use it later

Tips

• Build a well: Stack your pieces evenly, leaving a single column open on the far right or left. Wait for the straight I-piece to drop in and clear four lines at once for a massive score boost.
• Save your I-piece: Use the hold mechanic (Shift or C) to stash a straight piece. This ensures you have the perfect block ready when your well is fully prepped, rather than relying on luck.
• Keep it flat: Try to avoid creating jagged structures or covering up empty spaces. A flat top surface gives you the most flexibility to place whatever shape comes next.

It is a fantastic test of quick thinking and organization that works perfectly for a quick five-minute break or an hour-long high score chase.
