About Zooplop

Zooplop is a physics-based merge puzzle game that challenges you to combine matching animals inside a crowded container. Inspired by popular matching and physics-merging games, it replaces fruits with a cute cast of bouncing animals. Your goal is simple but addictive: drop animals one by one from a mechanical claw and merge identical species to grow them into larger creatures, aiming to create the ultimate animal—the giant whale.

Every session requires careful planning and spatial awareness. When two identical animals touch, they merge instantly, popping into a single larger animal and clearing up precious space. As the container fills up, managing the physics and bounces becomes crucial. If the animal pile reaches the top line of the screen for too long, you will run out of space and the game ends.

Controls

  • Mouse / Touch: Move the cursor left or right to position the claw, and click or tap to drop the current animal.
  • A / D Keys or Left / Right Arrows: Move the claw left or right across the screen.
  • S Key, Down Arrow, or Spacebar: Release the animal from the claw.

Tips

  • Watch the Queue: Keep an eye on the next animal waiting in your queue at the bottom of the screen. Plan your drops so that the next animal can easily merge with its matches.
  • Manage the Bounces: Animals are round and bouncy, which means physics will slide or roll them. Drop smaller animals carefully into gaps so they do not get trapped under larger ones.
  • Stay Centralized: Try to keep larger animals grouped together on one side or at the bottom. Having small animals stuck beneath big ones makes them incredibly difficult to reach and merge.

Zooplop FAQ

What is the largest animal you can merge in Zooplop?
The largest animal you can create in the game is the whale. Reaching the whale requires merging all the preceding animal sizes in the correct sequence.
How does a round of Zooplop end?
The game ends when the container becomes full and the pile of animals reaches the red warning line at the top of the screen for several seconds.
Do the animals bounce or roll when dropped?
Yes, Zooplop uses physics-based mechanics. Animals will roll, slide, and bounce depending on where they land, which can alter the layout of your container.
