Crossword Connect Game

Crossword Connect is a slow-paced word puzzle: a handful of letters sit in a circle, and you connect them in sequence to spell out words that fill a crossword grid. There's no timer pushing you along, so it plays best as something to work through in short, relaxed bursts rather than a race against the clock.

Each round starts with just four letters in the circle, and the words you find fill in the crossword automatically. Spell something valid that isn't part of the crossword answers and you still get a bonus point for it, so it rewards poking around the letter set rather than only hunting for the "correct" words. Clearing levels earns brilliance points, and every few rounds you'll open a chest of coins you can spend later.

Controls

Mouse or touch — drag across the letters in the circle in order to connect them and spell a word.

Tips

• Save your coins early on instead of spending them right away — you'll want them for hints once the puzzles get harder.
• When you're stuck, click the lightbulb to spend coins on a hint.
• Use the buttons on the left of the screen to rearrange the letters or review the bonus words you've already found.
• Later levels add more letters and longer words, so expect the pace to pick up the further you get.

It suits players who like crosswords or word-search games but want something a bit more forgiving and mouse-driven, with no penalty for wrong guesses.
