Dan The Man Game

Dan The Man is a retro-styled side-scrolling beat-'em-up: Dan fights his way through occupied villages, sewers, and forests to the king's castle after his girlfriend Josie is captured by the king's soldiers. Levels play out as a straight line forward, with waves of soldiers to punch through and a boss waiting at the end of each stretch.

The pixel-art presentation borrows the look and feel of the original Dan The Man web series and mobile game, but this browser build (ported to the web by Yes2Games) keeps things to the core run-and-fight loop rather than the full mobile storyline. Break vases for bonus coins, grab apples to top up health mid-fight, and keep moving forward — getting swarmed by soldiers from both sides is the main threat, not the platforming itself.

Controls

• Arrow keys or A/D — move left/right
• Spacebar, W, or Up — jump
• C — punch/attack

Tips

• Keep attacking while you back away from a crowd rather than standing still — Dan gets surrounded fast if enemies close in from both sides.
• Save apples for when your health bar is actually low; picking one up at full health wastes it.
• Break every vase you pass — they're an easy, low-risk source of extra coins on the way to each boss.

Good fit for a quick arcade session if you liked classic beat-'em-ups and don't need a long campaign to feel satisfied.
