Drunken Boxers is a physics-based ragdoll boxing game where every punch, stumble and wild swing is dictated by wobbly, uncooperative limbs rather than clean animation. Two fighters who've clearly had a few too many step into the ring, and the goal is simple: land enough hits to drain your opponent's energy bar before yours runs out.
A round rarely goes the way you plan it to. Because the ragdoll physics fight against precise inputs, your best strategy is usually to keep swinging rather than waiting for a perfect opening — hesitate and you'll likely eat a clumsy haymaker instead. Play against the computer for a quick match, or grab a friend for the same screen and see who can stay upright longer.
Controls
This is a local two-player game: Player 1 uses WASD, Player 2 uses the arrow keys. On each side, the left/right direction throws punches, the down direction pulls you into a defensive stance (retreating, though you can get cornered), and the up direction lunges you forward into an offensive push toward your opponent.
Tips
- Don't wait for a clean shot — the ragdoll physics reward constant pressure over precision.
- Use the defensive stance to bait your opponent into over-extending, then punish the opening.
- Watch both energy bars, not just your own — a fight can flip quickly once someone gets cornered.
It's a quick, chaotic pick-up-and-play game, best suited to short matches solo against the computer or side-by-side with a friend.
