About First Colony

First Colony puts you in charge of humanity's first settlement on Mars. It's an idle simulation: instead of controlling a character, you spend resources to put up new structures and upgrade the ones you already have, watching the colony grow as resources build up over time.

The loop is easy to pick up — click to build, click to upgrade, and keep an eye on what the colony needs next. There's no fast reflexes involved, so it works well in short check-ins or left running between things.

Controls

Left mouse button — click a building or upgrade to purchase it. It plays the same way on touch: tap what you want to buy.

Built in Construct by developer Akhmed Turabov and playable entirely in the browser with nothing to install, it's a relaxed pick for anyone who likes watching a base grow rather than managing one under pressure.

What are the controls for First Colony?
Click with the left mouse button to purchase or upgrade a building. On touch devices, tap the item you want to buy instead.
Do I need to actively play, or does it run itself?
It's an idle simulation, so resources build up over time, but you still need to click to spend them on new structures and upgrades — checking in regularly helps the colony grow faster.
