Magic Solitaire is a solo card game built around a simple removal rule: you can only clear a card from the board if it is exactly one rank higher or one rank lower than the card currently in your hand. Chain those small jumps across the whole layout and the deck empties itself; break the chain and you're stuck drawing from the pile to find your next move.
The tension comes from the draw pile. You can always tap it for a fresh card when you're out of options, but the game rewards patience — the fewer times you dip into the pile, the higher your score, so a strong round is really about reading the board ahead of time and only drawing when you truly have no legal move left.
Controls
Mouse or touch only — click or tap a card on the board to play it onto your current card, and click or tap the draw pile to reveal a new one. No keyboard is used.
Tips
- Scan the whole board before drawing — a card that looks buried can still be one rank away from your current card.
- Uncovering cards that open up two or three follow-up moves is worth more than clearing the nearest card first.
- Save draws for when you're genuinely stuck; each unnecessary draw chips away at your score.
It's a quiet, no-timer game that suits short breaks as easily as longer sessions — there's no fail state, just a board you either clear efficiently or don't.
