Mahjong Cards Game

Mahjong Cards takes the tile-matching puzzle of classic mahjong solitaire and swaps the tiles for a stacked deck of playing cards. Cards are laid out in overlapping piles, and the goal is simple: clear the whole board by removing every card, two at a time.

You can only pick up a card if it's "free" — not covered by another card, and open on at least one side (left or right). Click one exposed card, then click a second exposed card that shows the same rank, and both disappear. Work through the layout from the top down, keep an eye on which cards you're opening up for later, and if you get stuck with no legal pairs left, use the shuffle option to redeal the remaining cards without restarting the whole board.

Controls

Mouse or touch only — click or tap an exposed card, then click or tap a matching exposed card to remove the pair. There's no keyboard input.

Tips

• Clear cards near the edges and top layers first so lower cards become free sooner.
• Before committing to a pair, check whether removing it frees up a card you'll need later — some choices lock cards in place longer than necessary.
• If no more pairs are available, shuffle rather than fighting a dead layout.

It's a quiet, low-pressure puzzle suited to short breaks — there's no timer forcing you to rush a solution.
