Maze: Path of Light casts you as a beam of light trying to reach the exit of a maze, one crossroad at a time. Instead of steering freely, you pick a direction at each intersection and watch the beam travel straight until it hits the next junction, so every move is really a small decision about where the next choice point will be.
Early mazes are forgiving, but the layouts grow more tangled as you go, mixing dead ends and branching paths that force you to plan two or three turns ahead instead of reacting one step at a time. It's a quiet, no-pressure puzzle loop — there's no timer pushing you, just a maze that either has a route through it or doesn't, and it's on you to find it.
Controls
Click or tap the direction you want the beam to travel at each junction. On desktop you can also steer with the arrow keys or WASD.
Tips
- Before committing to a direction, trace the path with your eyes as far as you can — most mistakes come from moving one junction at a time instead of reading ahead.
- If a path dead-ends, it's usually faster to restart the level than to try to backtrack the beam.
- Look for junctions with only one real option first; they narrow the maze down and make the genuinely branching decisions easier to spot.
It suits short, calm sessions — a few levels on a break rather than one long sitting.
