Run 3 Away flips the standard endless runner formula on its head by turning the walls into your floor. You control a small alien sprinting down a crumbling architectural tunnel floating in the void of space. When the path ahead is missing too many tiles to safely jump, running into the left or right wall rotates the entire structure, instantly making that wall your new ground. The challenge isn't just about timing your jumps, but constantly shifting your perspective to find a viable path forward.
Because the tunnel is full of increasingly complex gaps, predicting the geometry a few steps ahead is the only way to survive. The game demands rapid spatial reasoning: a gap on the ceiling might become a fatal drop if you rotate the tunnel the wrong way in a panic. It is a fast, visually distinct take on the genre that forces you to unlearn how platformers usually work.
Controls
- Left / Right Arrows (or A/D): Strafe sideways and rotate the tunnel by climbing the walls
- Up Arrow / Spacebar: Jump over gaps
Tips
- Hold to float: Your alien's jump isn't fixed. A quick tap gives you a short hop, but holding the jump key extends your airtime, which is essential for clearing the wider gaps.
- Look deep into the tunnel: Staring directly at your character will get you killed. Keep your eyes focused further down the corridor so you can plan your rotations before you run out of floor.
- Prioritize power cells: The floating energy cells are the currency used to unlock new alien characters. Unlocking a character with better handling makes later levels far easier.
