About Run 3

Run 3 sends you sprinting through a chain of open-ended space tunnels as a small alien, with the ground curving away beneath you into gaps, ramps, and full loops. There's no fixed path to memorize by heart — the tunnels are built from short segments that get shuffled together, so even familiar stretches can throw a new gap at you.

The signature trick is gravity: run or jump onto a side wall and gravity rotates so that wall becomes your new floor, letting you run along walls and even ceilings without missing a step. Explore Mode works through hundreds of hand-built levels, while Infinite Mode just keeps generating tunnel for as long as you can keep your footing. Miss a jump and you drop straight through the level, so most of the challenge is reading the tunnel a beat ahead rather than reacting to what's already under your feet.

Controls

  • Arrow keys or WASD – move and steer
  • Up, W, or Space – jump

Tips

  • Watch the tunnel ahead of you, not the ground directly under your feet — by the time a gap is close enough to see clearly, it's often too late to react.
  • Unlockable characters aren't just cosmetic: some are smaller and fit through tighter gaps, others jump higher, so switching characters can make a stubborn stretch easier.
  • A wall-run only works if you're already moving into the wall when gravity shifts — hesitating mid-air usually sends you straight into the gap instead.
  • If Infinite Mode feels too fast to react to, Explore Mode's early levels are a calmer way to learn the gravity-shift timing first.

It's a good fit if you want something to dip into for a couple of minutes at a time — short reflex-testing runs with no story or dialogue to sit through, and enough levels in Explore Mode to keep coming back to.

Run 3 FAQ

What are the controls?
Arrow keys or WASD move and steer, and Up, W, or Space makes you jump.
What's the difference between Explore Mode and Infinite Mode?
Explore Mode works through hundreds of hand-built levels, while Infinite Mode generates tunnel endlessly and just tests how long you can last.
Do the unlockable characters actually matter?
Yes. They differ in size and jump ability, so a smaller or higher-jumping character can make a tight stretch noticeably easier.
What happens if I fall?
You drop straight through the level and restart the current stretch, so most runs are about reading gaps ahead of time rather than reacting to them.
