Sandbox of Elements is a physics playground that gives you an empty canvas and a palette of reactive materials to mix, ignite, and build with. There are no structured levels or high scores to chase. Instead, you operate entirely on your own curiosity, dropping sand, water, fire, and seeds to see how they interact under gravity and simulated physics.
A typical session is completely driven by your own experiments. You might build an intricate structure out of wood and stone just to watch it burn down when you introduce lava, or you might carefully balance plant life with a controlled water supply. The appeal comes from the engine's real-time pixel reactions—everything you place on the screen behaves according to a simple set of chemical and physical rules, leading to unpredictable and satisfying chain reactions.
Controls
- Left Click / Touch: Draw or drop the selected element onto the canvas.
- Menu: Select different materials from the interface.
Tips
- Contain your fluids: Before dropping water or lava, draw a sturdy basin out of stone or metal to keep the liquids from falling off the bottom of the screen.
- Watch for chain reactions: Mixing fire with flammable gases or plants can quickly clear the screen, so experiment with small amounts first.
