SlashZ Game

SlashZ is an engaging 3D physics-based cutting puzzle game developed by NoPowerup. In this game, players are presented with a variety of everyday objects—ranging from simple cardboard shapes and wooden blocks to food items—that they must slice down to size. The goal is to make clean, strategic cuts to reduce the overall surface area of the object until it fits within the level's target percentage requirement.

However, slicing objects is not as straightforward as it seems. The surfaces are populated by crawling beetles that you must protect. If your cutting line passes through a beetle, or if you isolate a beetle on a piece of the object that falls away, you will fail the level. Every slice requires careful planning and timing as you wait for the insects to move into safe zones before drawing your cutting path.

Controls

SlashZ features simple mouse and touch controls designed for instant playability:

• Click and Drag: Click (or tap) and swipe across the object to draw your cutting trajectory.
• Release: Let go of the mouse button (or lift your finger) to execute the slice.

Tips for Success

• Patience is Key: Do not rush your cuts. Study the movement patterns of the beetles and wait for them to cluster together in one area.
• Trim the Edges: Start by slicing off small, safe corners of the object where the beetles do not crawl to easily reduce the surface area.
• Isolate the Bugs: The ideal strategy is to herd all the beetles into a single, compact section of the object, allowing you to safely slice away the remaining large sections.
• Look Out for Flying Beetles: Some levels feature flying beetles that offer bonus points if you can safely capture them or trigger special combos.
