Controls

Sling Drift uses simple, one-touch controls. The timing of your presses and releases determines your drift angle.

• Release Mouse / Spacebar: Release the hook to stop drifting and drive straight.
• Tap and Hold Screen: Latch and drift (Mobile).
• Release Screen: Release the hook (Mobile).

Tips for High Scores

• Perfect your timing: Initiate the hook just as your car passes the line of the pillar. Letting go at the exact moment your car is aligned with the next straightaway is the key to maintaining control.
• Aim for perfect drifts: Staying in the middle of the road when exiting a turn triggers a 'Perfect' drift indicator, which awards additional points and keeps your car in a stable position for the next corner.
• Save up for new cars: Collect the glowing gems along the track. Accumulating gems allows you to purchase different vehicles, letting you show off your drift style.
