Tetris Flash Game

Tetris Flash takes the familiar falling-block puzzle formula and shifts the focus from endless survival to stage-based puzzle solving. Instead of simply clearing lines to stay alive, you are tasked with removing specific flashing blocks placed on the board. The goal of each level is to eliminate all of these target blocks to progress.

Because the objective is different, standard Tetris strategies have to change. You cannot just build a clean stack and wait for a long I-piece; you have to actively build lines that intersect with the flashing blocks. As you advance through the stages, the layouts become more complicated and the pieces drop faster, forcing you to think quickly about where to place each shape.

Controls

• Left/Right Arrows: Move the falling piece horizontally.
• Up Arrow: Rotate the piece.
• Down Arrow: Soft drop (speeds up the fall).
• Spacebar: Hard drop (instantly places the piece).

Tips

• Target the top first: Try to clear the highest flashing blocks early, as building over them will bury your targets and make the stage much harder.
• Don't play for Tetrises: Clearing four lines at once is great for points, but burning single or double lines is often more practical for hitting specific blocks.
• Keep your stack flat: A clean, relatively flat board gives you the most flexibility to slide pieces over to the columns where you actually need them.
