About Time Clones

Time Clones is a puzzle-platformer built around a single trick: every clone you drop repeats the exact route you just walked. Step forward, clear a gap, and press C — a ghost of yourself peels off and replays your last run in a loop while you keep controlling the "live" you.

Clones can stand on switches, hold down buttons, and block spikes that would otherwise kill you, so most of the game's 24 levels come down to figuring out where to place a clone, and when to record it, so it holds a door open, weighs down a platform, or shields a hazard long enough for you to get past.

Controls

  • WASD or the arrow keys — move
  • Space — jump
  • C — drop a clone
  • R — restart the level
  • Esc — menu

Tips

  • Walk your intended clone route in full before pressing C — once dropped, a clone repeats exactly what you did, mistakes included.
  • Spikes kill clones just as easily as they kill you, so sacrificing a clone to trip a hazard early can clear the path for the real you.
  • Later levels add pushable boxes and elevators — only weight, yours or a clone's, triggers them, so plan who ends up standing where.

It suits short, heads-down sessions: each level is a fresh spatial puzzle rather than a twitch challenge, so there's no penalty for stopping to think.
