Yarn Untangle Game

Relax and unwind with Yarn Untangle, a cozy and satisfying logic puzzle game. The objective is delightfully simple yet mentally engaging: rearrange balls of yarn on a board to disentangle their connecting threads. With a clean design and smooth physics, the game offers a peaceful puzzle-solving experience that lets you progress at your own pace without timers or stress.

At the start of each level, you are presented with a messy web of intersecting strands. Tangled lines glow in a warning yellow color, signaling that they overlap with threads. By dragging and swapping the positions of the yarn balls, you must clear the intersections. Once a yarn strand is completely free of overlap, it shifts to a soothing pink color. A level is completed when every single line has turned pink.

Controls

The game is played entirely with a mouse or touch interface:

• Left-Click & Drag: Select a ball of yarn and move it to any vacant spot on the board to untie the knots.

Tips for Success

• Use the Drag and Pause Method: If you are unsure where a ball of yarn belongs, drag it slowly across the board. Watch the lines closely—when a strand temporarily changes from yellow to pink, it gives you a clue about its correct final position.
• Start from the Edges: Focus on untangling the outermost yarn balls first. Clearing the peripheral lines makes it much easier to see the complex knots remaining in the center of the board.
• Analyze the Pink Paths: Once you successfully turn a line pink, avoid moving the connected yarn balls unless absolutely necessary. Building your solution around established clear paths will keep you from creating new tangles.
