About Among Us: Online Edition

Among Us: Online Edition is a tense multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal. You and up to nine players share a spaceship, scrambling to complete mundane maintenance tasks to keep the vessel running. The catch is that one or more players are Impostors—shape-shifting aliens assigned to eliminate the crew before all tasks are finished.

Every round is a cycle of frantic activity and paranoid deliberation. When a body is found or an emergency meeting is called, the surviving players must discuss who they suspect, interrogate each , and vote to eject someone into the cold vacuum of space. The game runs directly in your browser with nothing to install, making it simple to coordinate a quick lobby with friends or join strangers online.

Controls

  • WASD or Arrow Keys: Move your character
  • Mouse: Interact with tasks, security cameras, and menus
  • E or Spacebar: Use object or sabotage (if Impostor)
  • Q: Kill (if Impostor)
  • R: Report a discovered body

Tips

  • Clear your name with visual tasks: Missions like destroying asteroids or scanning in the MedBay have visible animations. Let someone watch you do them to prove your innocence.
  • Check the admin table: The Admin room map shows player locations without revealing their identities. If you see someone alone in a room, then suddenly in another without crossing the hallway, they likely used a vent.
  • Stacking hides the kill: If multiple players stand on the exact same spot (like on a wiring task), an Impostor can eliminate one without anyone knowing exactly who clicked the button.

Once a meeting is called, a text chat interface appears on screen. Players type their observations, accusations, and defenses here before voting.
