Cats Drop is a delightful physics-based merge puzzle game that captures the relaxing yet strategic fun of the viral fruit-merging genre. Instead of apples and melons, your task is to drop an assortment of cute, round cats of varying sizes into a container. When two identical cats touch, they instantly combine into a single, larger cat breed. The goal is to build your way up to the largest cat possible to maximize your score.

While the mechanics are simple, success requires careful planning and a good understanding of game physics. The cats roll, bounce, and shift dynamically as they land, meaning a single drop can cause a chain reaction across the entire container. You must carefully aim each drop to prevent the pile from stacking up too high. If any feline overflows the top line of the container, the game ends immediately, making space management the key to a high score.

Controls

• Aim and Drop (Desktop): Move your mouse cursor horizontally to aim where you want the cat to fall, and click the left mouse button to drop it.
• Aim and Drop (Mobile/Tablet): Tap and drag your finger across the screen to position the cat, and release or tap to drop it.

Tips for Big Merges

• Keep Large Cats at the Bottom: Try to merge and keep your largest cats near the bottom of the container. If large cats sit on top of smaller ones, they block access and cause the container to fill up rapidly.
• Predict Bounce and Roll: Cats are round and will roll along the curves of cats when they land. Anticipate where they will slide before dropping them, especially when trying to trigger a merger.
• Arrange Cats by Size: Whenever possible, drop cats in a gradient (from smallest to largest) next to one another. This increases the chances of chain-reaction merges where one merge triggers the next in a cascading sequence.
