Grindcraft strips Minecraft down to its crafting tree and turns it into a pure click-and-progress loop. There's no world to explore and nothing to build for defense — just a single screen of resources waiting to be gathered by mouse click, and a growing list of recipes that turn wood into tools, tools into better tools, and better tools into access to rarer materials.
A session starts small: click a tree for wood, craft a basic pickaxe, then click stone to open up smelting and metal tools. Each material you unlock feeds the next tier up, so the game's pace comes entirely from how efficiently you clear the recipe list in front of you rather than from a timer or an enemy.
Controls
Grindcraft is played entirely with the mouse — click a resource to gather it, and click a recipe to craft it. There's no keyboard input at all.
Tips
- Craft the next tool tier as soon as you can afford it — better tools gather resources faster, which is the main way to speed up the whole run.
- Check the recipe list before grinding out a big stockpile of one resource; it's easy to over-collect something you don't need yet.
- Higher-tier materials like iron, gold and diamond unlock new crafting branches, so working toward them opens up more of the game than repeating early recipes.
It suits short, low-pressure sessions — something to click through in the background rather than a game that demands full attention.
