About Jelly Cat

Jelly Cat isn't a game where you steer a character directly — you draw the path instead. Each level drops a soft, stretchy cat on one side of the screen and a few treats somewhere out of easy reach. Click and drag to sketch a line, and the cat stretches itself along whatever shape you drew, squeezing through narrow gaps and sticking to walls as it goes until it reaches the food.

Getting to the treats is only half the puzzle. Every level scores you on up to three cookies, and the extra cookies come from drawing the shortest workable line rather than just any line that technically works. That turns a level you've already "solved" into something worth replaying once you spot a tighter route through the same gaps.

Controls

Mouse: click and drag to draw a line for the cat to follow. On a touchscreen, the same drawing motion works with a finger.

Tips

  • Reaching the food clears the level, but a long, winding line still costs you cookies — look for the straightest path the level's gaps will actually allow before you commit to drawing it.
  • The cat sticks to walls once its stretched body touches them, so you can often save length by routing along a wall instead of drawing a line straight across open space.
  • If a level isn't scoring three cookies, try tracing a completely different route rather than just trimming your existing line — the shortest path isn't always a shorter version of your first attempt.

A good fit for short, replayable sessions — the kind of puzzle game where "good enough" and "optimal" are two different runs of the same level.

Jelly Cat FAQ

How do you play Jelly Cat?
Draw a line with your mouse, or your finger on a touchscreen, from the cat toward the food. The cat stretches along whatever path you draw, squeezing through gaps and sticking to walls as it goes.
What's the cookie scoring based on?
Each level awards up to three cookies for finishing with a short, efficient line. Reaching the food clears the level, but drawing the shortest workable path is what earns the extra cookies.
Can I play Jelly Cat on mobile?
Yes. The drawing mechanic works the same way with a finger on a touchscreen as it does with a mouse on desktop.
What happens if my line is too long?
You still clear the level and feed the cat, but a longer, less direct line earns fewer cookies than a tighter route through the same gaps.
