Mad Day Game

Mad Day puts you in the boots of Bob, an ex-marine whose quiet life is interrupted when aliens crash-land and abduct his beloved pet octopus, Fluffy. To get his companion back, you must hop into a heavily armed truck and tear through enemy lines in this side-scrolling mix of driving and shooting.

The core loop is built around upgrading your gear. In each run, you will blast aliens, jump over gaps, and survive as long as possible to collect coins. When your truck inevitably gets destroyed, you return to the garage to spend your earnings on better armor, bigger guns, and silly but practical hats. Every run gets you slightly further as your vehicle transforms from a basic pickup into an unstoppable tank.

Controls

The truck accelerates and fires its main gun automatically, leaving you to focus on jumping and using special weapons:

• Spacebar or Up Arrow: Jump over gaps and obstacles.
• X or Down Arrow: Fire your vehicle's rocket launcher.

Tips

• Upgrade the coin magnet first: It pulls in money you would otherwise drive past, making it much faster to afford the expensive late-game weapons.
• Save rockets for big threats: Your primary gun handles most infantry, so keep your rockets ready for heavily armored alien vehicles and laser towers.
• Timing jumps: You can often jump off the roof of an alien structure to avoid ground hazards entirely, but watch out for hovering enemies when you go airborne.
