Mimelet is a small, round hero whose only real move is jumping on things — and jumping on the right thing hands you a new power. Each level is a short chain of floating islands, hazards and enemies, and the way through usually depends on stealing the ability standing in your way rather than dodging around it.
The loop stays simple from the first level to the last: read the layout, hop onto an enemy to copy its power, then use that power to clear whatever blocked you a second ago. You've got three hits before a level restarts, so the pace rewards patience over rushing, and there are twenty stages that get gradually tighter about which power you need and when.
Controls
- Left / Right arrow keys — move
- Up arrow — jump
Tips
- Landing on an enemy immediately swaps your current power for theirs, even mid-air — don't jump into one out of habit if the power you're already holding is what the next obstacle needs.
- You only get three hits per level before it resets, so a slow, deliberate hop across a hazard beats a rushed one that costs a life.
- Each level hides five different fruits, one of each type — not required to finish, but worth grabbing on a calm stretch if you're going for a clean run.
- When an enemy's power isn't obvious, watch how it moves or attacks once before engaging — that tells you what you're about to inherit.
Mimelet suits short, one-level-at-a-time sessions — it's built for a quick browser break rather than a long sit, and it plays fine with touch controls if you're on a phone or tablet.
