Monster Merge is a casual idle game that combines merge mechanics with automated monster battles. Players start by obtaining basic creatures, which can be dragged together on a grid to combine them into stronger, higher-tier forms. As you build your collection of monsters, they automatically defend your territory against waves of approaching enemies.

The progression relies on gathering coins and gems from defeated foes to purchase additional units and unlock new creature designs. Since the battle phase runs automatically, the core challenge lies in managing your grid space effectively and deciding when to merge or hold onto specific units to optimize your defenses.

Controls

You can play this game directly in your web browser with simple controls:

• Mouse Left-Click & Drag: Select a monster and move it to another tile to either merge it with an identical creature or reposition it on the grid.
• Left-Click: Interact with the shop menus and purchase upgrades.

Gameplay Tips

• Manage Grid Space: Keep at least a few empty tiles on your grid so you have room to summon and merge new monsters. If your board fills up completely, you will not be able to bring in new units.
• Balance Your Army: While higher-level monsters are more powerful, having a few mid-level units can sometimes provide better overall coverage than a single high-level creature.
• Collect Idle Rewards: Check back regularly to claim accumulated earnings, which can be reinvested into expanding your roster of monsters.
