Mosaic Puzzle Art is a relaxed painting puzzle from TapLabGames. Each level shows a small reference picture and a canvas made of hexagonal tiles waiting to be filled. Pick a color from the palette, then tap or click the matching tiles to build the picture up piece by piece until the canvas matches the reference exactly.
There's no timer pushing you and no penalty for a wrong tile, so the pace is entirely up to you. Some players work through the reference in neat color blocks, others hop around the canvas filling in whatever catches their eye; either way the appeal is watching a recognizable image emerge from a grid of plain hexagons.
Controls
- Click or tap a color swatch to select it
- Click or tap a hexagonal tile to fill it with the selected color
Tips
- Zoom in mentally on one section of the reference at a time rather than jumping around the whole canvas — it cuts down on mis-clicks.
- Finish one color completely before switching palettes; it's faster than hunting for scattered tiles of the same shade later.
- If a section looks wrong, compare it directly against the reference image rather than guessing — the hex grid can make edges look off until a few more tiles are filled in.
It's a good fit for a low-pressure, half-focused session — something to fill in while half-watching something else, rather than a game that demands full attention.
