Noob Archer turns the satisfying mechanics of a physics puzzle into a pixelated zombie clearing operation. Armed with a limited quiver and a trusty bow, your goal isn't just to land direct hits on the undead, but to figure out the angles. Every level is a self-contained trap room where you have to calculate ricochets, drop heavy objects, and trigger explosives to clear the board before you run out of arrows.
The satisfaction comes from the trial and error of finding the perfect shot. A simple trajectory line shows your initial aim, but you have to account for how the arrow will bounce off metal crates and stone walls. When you string together a shot that threads through a narrow gap, detonates a TNT barrel, and takes out three enemies at once, it feels incredibly rewarding.
Controls
- Aim and Draw: Click and hold the left mouse button (or tap and drag on touchscreens).
- Adjust Power/Angle: Drag the cursor away from your target to increase tension, and move it vertically to change the arc.
- Shoot: Release the button to fire the arrow.
Tips for Clearing Levels
- Look for chain reactions: Before taking a shot, scan the room for red TNT barrels or ropes holding heavy anvils. A single arrow hitting an explosive is usually the intended solution for crowded stages.
- Use the environment: Direct line of sight is rare in later levels. Practice bouncing arrows off the ceiling or walls to hit enemies hiding behind barricades.
- Conserve your arrows: You don't have to shoot at full power every time. Sometimes a gentle lob over an obstacle is more accurate than a high-velocity ricochet.
