Sharkio drops you into a top-down ocean arena as a shark competing against a server full of players for the same stretch of water. You start small, and the entire game is a single loop repeated under pressure: chase down anything weaker than you, stay clear of anything bigger, and use short bursts of speed to close the gap or slip away before you become someone else's meal.
What keeps a round interesting is the risk of getting greedy. Boost is limited, so sprinting after a swimmer or a smaller shark drains the exact resource you need to escape when a bigger predator turns on you. Reading the arena — who is hunting, who is fleeing, where the open water is — matters more than raw speed.
Controls
- WASD or Arrow Keys: Swim in a direction.
- Mouse: Steer, as an alternative to the keyboard.
- Spacebar or Left Click: Dash, using up your boost meter for a short burst of speed.
Tips
- Collect the white objects scattered in the water first — they refill your boost bar, and running dry mid-chase is how most players get eaten.
- Stars add to your score without adding risk, so pick them up on your way between fights rather than going out of your way for them.
- Dash to close distance on prey, not to travel — save it for the moment you actually need the speed.
- You can pick a different horn and change your shark's look before a match; it's cosmetic, so choose whatever you'll recognize fastest on a crowded screen.
Rounds are quick and social by nature — every shark on the map is a real player, so no two games play out the same way.
