Short Ride Game

Short Ride challenges you to navigate a series of increasingly hazardous obstacle courses using whatever wheels you can find. Control a fragile protagonist on a bicycle, a segway, or even a shopping cart as you navigate steep ramps, swinging blades, and hidden pitfalls. Every level is a tense exercise in momentum and timing, where a single miscalculation leads to a messy crash.

The game relies heavily on exaggerated ragdoll physics, meaning your character bends, slides, and falls apart in spectacular fashion. What makes the gameplay unique is that surviving the course is all that matters. You do not need to finish the race in perfect condition, and you do not even need to remain on your vehicle. Crawling across the finish line with missing limbs still counts as a victory.

Controls

• Accelerate / Pedal: Up Arrow or W
• Brake / Reverse: Down Arrow or S
• Lean Left / Right: Left and Right Arrows, or A and D
• Mount / Dismount: Space bar

Survival Tips

• Dismount when necessary: If a narrow gap or steep climb is too difficult to navigate on a bicycle, press Space to get off and proceed on foot. You can run, jump, and grab onto ledges to bypass hazards.
• Ride through the damage: As long as your vehicle has at least one working wheel and your rider can still cling to it, you can keep moving forward. Do not restart just because you lost a wheel or got injured.
• Pace your movements: Heavy blades and falling hazards follow regular timing loops. Stop before these traps, study their rhythm, and choose the safest moment to pedal through.
