Stickman War drops you into the role of a faction leader surrounded by hostile nations, each devoted to their distinct weapons and fighting styles. As you build your economy by mining gold, you must balance spending on new miners against training an army capable of surviving enemy waves. It is a tug-of-war strategy game where every unit you train marches forward to either hold the line, push the offensive, or defend your statue.
A typical match involves reading the enemy's unit composition and countering it while scaling your own forces. You can take manual control of individual units to dodge attacks or snipe key targets, which adds an arcade feel to the tactical command. Matches start small with basic club-wielding soldiers but quickly escalate into chaotic clashes involving magic-users, heavy spearmen, and towering giants.
Controls
- Mouse: Click UI buttons to train units, set your army stance (Attack, Defend, Garrison), and direct miners.
- A / D or Left / Right Arrows: Pan the camera across the battlefield.
- Click a Unit: Take manual control of that specific soldier.
- Spacebar / Click: Attack or mine while manually controlling a unit.
Tips
- Always build a strong economy first by maxing out your miners before pushing the offensive.
- Take manual control of an Archidon early in the match to land headshots and thin out the first enemy wave without taking damage.
- Garrison your troops inside your base when overwhelmed to let your statue's defensive archers handle the push.
- Counter enemy Magikills by sending fast-moving Swordwraths to close the distance before they can cast their area-of-effect spells.
