Super Bike The Champion puts you directly onto the tarmac in a realistic 3D motorcycle racing experience. Rather than arcade-style physics, this game demands proper throttle control and cornering technique as you race against a grid of competitive AI riders. The sense of speed is excellent, but you have to know when to brake and how to lean into turns to maintain your racing line.
Starting with a modest bike, your career requires you to place well in races to earn money. These funds are essential for upgrading your current machine's engine and handling, or eventually buying more powerful superbikes. The tracks get progressively tougher, featuring tighter hairpins and longer straightaways where slipstreaming behind opponents becomes a necessary tactic to pull ahead.
Controls
- Arrow Keys / WASD: Steer left and right, accelerate, and brake
- Spacebar: Handbrake for sharp corners
- C: Change camera view
Tips
- Brake before the turn: Do not try to brake while you are already turning. Slow down in a straight line before the corner, then accelerate smoothly as you exit.
- Use the slipstream: Tuck in closely behind the rider in front of you on long straights to reduce air resistance and gain a burst of speed for an overtake.
- Invest in handling first: Top speed is useless if you keep crashing into the barriers. Upgrade your bike's handling and brakes before maxing out the engine.
