1941 Frozen Front Game

1941 Frozen Front is a turn-based strategy game set on the Eastern Front of World War II. Pick a side — the German army pushing east or the Soviet defenders holding their ground — and fight out a series of missions on hexagonal battlefields where every move costs action points.

Each turn you position infantry, tanks, trucks, planes and turrets, spend points to move or attack, and weigh trade-offs like fuel and ammo against the terrain in front of you. Objectives vary by mission: capture a key hex, or wipe out everything the side has standing. Because it's turn-based, there's no reflex pressure — the game rewards reading the board and picking fights you can actually win.

Mouse only. Click a unit to select it, use the action icons to move or attack, and click hexes on the map to confirm.

Tips

• Watch your fuel and ammo counters — a tank stranded without either is dead weight for the rest of the mission.
• Planes hit hard and move far but fold fast against dug-in defenses, so don't send them in alone.
• Take the mission objective before chasing kills; clearing every enemy unit is rarely required to win.
