Bad Ice-Cream 2 Game

Bad Ice-Cream 2 is Nitrome's follow-up to the original ice-breaking arcade puzzle, and it keeps the same core idea: you're a scoop of ice cream stuck in a maze full of fruit and hostile creatures, and your only tool is the ability to shoot blocks of ice. Every level is really a small logic puzzle disguised as a chase — freeze a path across water, wall off an enemy before it corners you, or break an ice block you laid down a second ago because you boxed yourself in.

The sequel adds more flavors to pick from and supports up to four players on one screen, so it holds up just as well as a couch game as it does solo. The rules don't change with more players in the mix, which is part of what makes it work: everyone is racing to clear the same fruit before the level's hazards catch up.

Controls

Player 1 moves with the arrow keys and shoots ice with Space. Player 2 moves with W/A/S/D and shoots ice with Q, so two people can play side by side on one keyboard.

Tips

• Shooting ice isn't just for blocking enemies — you'll often need to build yourself a bridge across water or gaps to reach fruit at all.
• You can break ice you've already placed, so don't be afraid to wall yourself in temporarily if it buys you a second to think.
• Watch where enemies are heading before you commit to a fruit that's near them; a block placed one tile early is usually enough to cut them off.

It's a good pick for short puzzle-arcade sessions, and a genuinely fun one to split with a friend on the same keyboard.
