Ball vs Block Game

Ball vs Block is a fast-paced arcade game that combines the classic snake mechanic with block-breaking puzzle elements. You guide a chain of glowing balls through a vertical corridor filled with numbered blocks. The number on each block indicates how many balls it will consume from your chain to break. As you slide forward, your primary objective is to survive for as long as possible by weaving through obstacles and finding the path of least resistance.

Success in this game is all about split-second decision-making. You must constantly balance the risk of smashing through blocks to keep moving against the reward of collecting extra balls scattered along the track. Picking up these single balls or clusters expands your chain, giving you the ammo needed to break through larger barriers. If your chain's count hits zero, your run comes to an end, pushing you to beat your previous high score in the next attempt.

Controls

Guiding your chain requires simple but precise movements.

• Mouse/Drag: Click and hold the left mouse button, then slide left or right to steer your ball chain across the track.
• Touchscreen: Drag your finger left or right on the screen to guide the chain.

Tips

• Target the Lowest Numbers: When blocked by a wall of barriers, aim for the block with the smallest number. This minimizes the number of balls deducted from your chain and keeps you alive.
• Prioritize Ball Groups: Try to collect every group of balls you see, even if it requires quick maneuvering. A longer chain is your only shield against high-value blocks.
• Look Ahead: Do not just focus on the block immediately in front of you. Glance up the screen to plan your route toward lower-value blocks and upcoming clusters.
