Base Defense is a tower-defense game where your job is simple: keep the enemy off your compound. Waves of attackers push in from the edges of the map along fixed lanes, and you fend them off by dropping weapon emplacements — gunners, sentries, triple shooters, even throwing axes — at the choke points between them and your base.

The loop rewards patience as much as placement. Every enemy you drop leaves behind gold and scrap metal, which you spend upgrading the weapons you already have or unlocking new ones. Early waves are slow enough to plan around; later ones force you to juggle multiple approach lanes at once, so a session usually starts calm and ends with you scrambling to plug the gap that's about to break.

Everything is mouse-driven: click to select a weapon from your loadout, then click a build slot to place or upgrade it.

Tips

• Spend your first few waves of gold on cheap gunners to cover every lane before investing heavily in any single upgrade.
• Triple shooters are worth the wait once enemies start arriving in clusters — a single-target gunner falls behind fast at that point.
• Watch which lane is weakest each wave rather than upgrading your favorite spot; the game shifts pressure around as it goes.

It suits short, replayable sessions — the kind of game you can drop into for ten minutes to push a few more waves, or settle in for longer once you're juggling several defense lines at once.
