Basketball Stars 2019 Game

Basketball Stars is a fast-paced 2-player basketball game from Madpuffers, the studio behind Moto X3M and Basketball Legends. Matches are quick and physical: bring the ball up the court, look for an opening, then either drive past your defender or pull up for a shot before the clock or your opponent catches up.

Play solo against the computer, pass the keyboard to a friend for local head-to-head, or work through a tournament bracket as a lineup of legendary NBA-style ballers. Every possession is a small tug-of-war between dashing to create space on offense and timing a block or pump-fake read on defense, which keeps rounds short enough to run back again and again.

Controls

1 player

• WASD or arrow keys - move
• X or L - shoot / steal
• S - pump fake / block
• Tap a direction key twice (A/D or left/right arrow) - dash
• K or Z - super shot

2 players

• Player 1 - WASD to move, B to shoot/steal, S to pump/block, tap A or D twice to dash
• Player 2 - arrow keys to move, L to shoot/steal, down arrow to pump/block, tap left or right arrow twice to dash
• K - super shot

Tips

• Double-tap a direction key to dash past a defender camping between you and the basket instead of forcing a contested shot.
• Hold the block key instead of shooting blind - it baits your opponent into jumping early and opens a lane to the hoop.
• Save the super shot for a possession where you already have separation; it's easier to line up than to force through traffic.
• On defense, stay between your opponent and the hoop rather than chasing the ball - positioning beats reflexes here.

It suits short sessions best - a few quick rounds solo, or pass-the-keyboard matches with a friend sitting next to you.
