Battleship War is a modern digital rendition of the classic grid-based naval combat strategy game. In this tactical showdown, you arrange a fleet of warships on a hidden grid and take turns targeting the opponent's waters. The ultimate objective is to locate and sink all of your opponent's vessels before they can locate and destroy yours.

The game features two distinct gameplay options: Classic Mode and Advanced Mode. Classic Mode offers the traditional turn-based guessing experience. In Advanced Mode, landing successful hits earns you strategic points. You can spend these points on powerful tactical advantages, such as launching radar scans to reveal hidden positions or ordering devastating air strikes that strike multiple squares at once.

Controls

• Desktop: Use your mouse to click coordinates on the grid to fire. Drag and click to place your ships during the setup phase.
• Mobile: Tap on the grid coordinates to aim and shoot. Tap and drag to position your vessels.

Tips

• Checkerboard Scouting: Fire at alternating squares in a checkerboard pattern. This technique covers the maximum amount of grid space with the fewest possible shots.
• Zero In on Hits: Once you locate a ship, target adjacent squares (north, south, east, and west) to map its orientation and sink it efficiently.
• Vary Your Placements: Avoid grouping all your ships together. Spacing them out makes it much harder for your opponent to guess your layout after their first hit.
